Compass

COMPASS is a eurorack joystick with 8 CV outputs, one for each cardinal point. These are indicated with letters on the front panel as follows:

NW: north-west
W: west
N: north
S: south
E: east
NE: north-east
SW: south-west
SE: south-east

The voltage range each of these outputs can be set independently with its corresponding toggle switch to 

 0V to +10V
 0V to +5V
-5V to +5V

This feature makes the joystick more usable in ‘real world’ situations where the destinations we’d like to modulate may expect different voltage ranges, or maybe we just want different amounts of modulation for different parameters, avoiding the need of using of mixers, attenuverters and offset modules.

In addition to the CV outputs, Compass features 8 LFOs whose frequency is also controlled by the movement of the joystick. These are indicated with arrows on the front panel. The range selected for the CV outputs will have no effect on the LFOs, whose voltage goes approx. from -5V to +5V.

All CV outputs and LFOs have a bicolor led which indicates its voltage.
